HUSH Adds Evan Anthony to Team

HUSH announced the addition of Designer Evan Anthony to its staff.

Press release from HUSH:

Following the recent hire of Head of Production Ryan McGrath, HUSH announced the addition of Designer Evan Anthony to its staff. Anthony, who joins HUSH from B-Reel, brings a reel stuffed with motion, web and interactive games; a beautiful blend of professional and self-initiated projects done in an array of styles.

"We see Evan as a true multi-disciplinary designer," noted HUSH Creative Partner David Schwarz. "He fits perfectly into both the HUSH culture of 'do everything,' and our focus on bringing together multi-disciplinary thinkers. He is an avid maker - an illustrator, coder, animator, installation builder - and that is the kind of flexibility of thinking that our clients demand."

Anthony's credits include working on Arcade Fire's unique interactive The Wilderness Downtown, which used Google maps to interpolate streets from a viewer's hometown on to the screen, and Bits and Base Pairs, a dynamic visual exploration of the human identity and genetics that earned write-ups on The Atlantic and Time video blogs. Anthony also designed a Google Maps game, an upcoming WebGL powered marble game exploring cities around the world, and the Google Maps Pinball game, a Maps themed pinball machine featured at SXSW.

In hiring Anthony, HUSH willl spark more high-caliber design work for a roster of new clients, such as their recent gopogo-powered Strings spot, and interactive experiences for Esquire, Chevron and the University of Dayton.

"I wanted to find an design agency where I could explore my diverse interests, and HUSH was just the place," stated Anthony. "They encourage a creative approach that is heavy on craft, learning, and original thinking, and I look forward to working with such a talented group."
