Margate-based animation production company signs Budapest-based stop-motion animation filmmaker and director Milán Kopasz for commercial representation in the U.K.

MARGATE, U.K. -- Animation production company A+C Studios is now representing Budapest-based animation filmmaker and director Milán Kopasz in the U.K. Milán produces both stop-motion and hand-drawn animation and has been actively producing animated content since 2010.

“It’s great to be working with A+C Studios. I'm excited to be represented in the U.K. and love the work A+C are doing, so I think we'll have a great future working together,” Kopasz commented.

From Szolnok, Hungary, Kopasz received his animation BA and MA degrees at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest. His short films and applied animated films have been selected for many international and national animation festivals. In 2014 he made the ID film for the Hungarian animation celebration at the 2014 Hiroshima Animation Festival. His film Beyond was recently selected for the official competition at Festival Stop Motion Montreal.

“We're delighted to be representing Milán for the U.K. commercial market,” said A+C creative director Dan Richards. “It’s great to see new directors coming up in the ranks, and Milán really impressed us with his varied and expressive work. It’s an exciting time for stop-motion animation and I'm looking forward to A+C working on some exciting commercials with Milán.”
