Time is running out to submit scripts from TV and film productions for The Humanitas Prize, which affirms human values in entertainment. Animation writers may compete for $10,000 in the children's teleplay category. TV programs must have been broadcast between April 2, 2004 and April 1, 2005 to qualify. Feature films must have screened in at least 60 U.S. markets or at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.
Applications are due April 1, 2005, the winners will be announced on June 29, 2005, at the Hilton Universal City in Los Angeles. There is no submission fee or limit to the number of submissions. For submission forms visit www.humanitasprize.org or call (310) 454-8769.
