HPA Announces NAB 2012 Post Pit Lineup

The Hollywood Post Alliance, the trade association for the post production community, has announced the lineup for the Post Pit at the 2012 NAB Show.

The Hollywood Post Alliance, the trade association for the post production community, has announced the lineup for the Post Pit at the 2012 NAB Show.  For the second year, the HPA will program these in-depth, expert presentations held in the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall (Lower) during NAB Show. Over the course of four days, April 16-19, the Post Pit will feature dozens of information-packed but easy to grab 20-minute sessions.

Presentations will include such highlights as Lon Bender of Motion Picture Sound Editors discussing the sound design on Drive, HD and Beyond with Larry Thorpe of Canon and Gary Demos of Image Essence who will cover ACES processing and Presentation Systems. Additional standout presenters will include the winners of the 6th Annual HPA Engineering Excellence Award (sponsored by NAB Show), the HPA Judges Award for Creativity & Innovation in Post Production and the Best of the 2012 Tech Retreat Demos as voted by the Tech Retreat Committee and Attendees. The Post Pit presentations offer NAB Show attendees the opportunity to learn about and understand the latest, most important, innovative and award-winning trends in post production today.

The Post Pit is located in the lower level of the South Hall (SL14805).
