Homer Simpson Throws Out A First Pitch

Universal Studios Hollywood hits it out of the ballpark with a new promotion offering kids a chance to visit the all-new mega attraction, THE SIMPSONS RIDE at The Entertainment Capital of L.A. for free when a Dodger hits a "Homer" during the fifth inning of any Dodgers home game this 2008 MLB season.

The "Hit a Homer" promotion, which runs all season long, will step up to the plate on Monday, May 19 when Homer Simpson throws out the first pitch at the L.A. Dodgers vs. Cincinnati Reds game. One free child's ticket will be offered with one paid adult ticket.

Tickets are redeemable through October 31 by bringing in and surrendering the Dodger game ticket stub to a Universal Studios Hollywood ticket booth. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer or separately ticketed event, and both the adult and child must be present at time of redemption.

THE SIMPSONS RIDE is a collaboration between Universal Parks & Resorts and THE SIMPSONS creators, Executive Producer, Matt Groening; Executive Producer, James L. Brooks; and Executive Producer, Al Jean. THE SIMPSONS RIDE is the first-ever mega-attraction based on the blockbuster TV series. The new attraction plants guests smack in the middle of a brand-new Simpsons adventure with original animation starring cast members Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria, and guest star Kelsey Grammer.
