Mulan II Tops First Quarter DTV Sales

Adams Media Research has reported the top 10 direct-to-video titled for the first quarter of 2005. Leading the pack in total units sold and rental revenue was Disney’s MULAN II with 56.8 million. In a distant second was Lions Gate’s BARBIE: FAIRYTOPIA garnering $17.4 million. Following that was Universal’s BALTO III: WINGS OF CHANGE, rounding up $14. 2 million. The rest of the top included Warner Bros.’ SCOOBY-DOO: ALOHA SCOOBY-DOO! ($7.5 million), Buena Vista/Miramax’s POKEMON: DESTINY DEOXYS ($6.1 million), Buena Vista’s THE CAT RETURNS($3.4 million), First Look’s EASTER EGG ADVENTURE ($2.8 million), Warner Bros.’ TOM AND JERRY: BLAST OFF TO MARS ($2.3 million) and Lions Gate’s LIL’ PIMP ($600,000).
