Home Video will be releasing THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE on VHS and DVD
on May 1, 2001. The VHS release, retailing for $26.99, will include
Sting's "Making the Music" music video featuring "My Funny Friend and
Me" from the film's soundtrack. Two different DVD versions will be
released. The DISNEY DVD version, to retail for $29.99, includes an
additional music video "Walk the Llama Llama," as well as bonus
commentary, an interactive game and a deleted scene from the movie.
THE ULTIMATE GROOVE 2-disc collector's edition, to retail for $39.99,
includes all the features of the DISNEY DVD edition, as well as an
extensive guided behind-the-walls tour of Disney's Feature Animation
Department, allowing the viewer to follow the creation of a Disney
animated film from development, through story, to layout and
backgrounds, animation, scanning and Ink & Paint, to music and sound.
The collector's edition also can be accessed on a computer DVD-ROM
drive for additional interactive games.
