DVD Releases For August 5, 2008
Special features on the HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE Volume Three DVD include the original "Morals" segment for each episode (never seen on the Cartoon Network), five audio commentaries, an extended video commentary, and scripts for episodes 27 through 40.
Also included in this volume is the never-before-seen Episode 40. This installment was written, but not produced for the animated series, and BCI and Mattel are bringing it to life in the form of a full-length digital comic book adaptation. This exclusive DVD extra was created by Val Staples and Emiliano Santalucia, producers and artists of the popular comic book series based on the cartoon.
In the last 13 episodes that comprise Season Two, the balance of power is disturbed when King Hssss and his Snake Men attempt to conquer Eternia. The Masters of the Universe find themselves not only struggling with the Snake Men's villainous threat to awaken the Snake God, Serpos, but also Hordak, the evil former master of Skeletor, is seeking to return and rule the planet. Amidst this chaos, He-Man finally learns the history of his power and of his connection to the legendary warrior, King Grayskull.

CHARLIE AND LOLA, Vol. 8: I Am Collecting a Collection
From BBC Warner, the siblings learn patience, new languages, and how to deal with loss in six episodes of the popular animated children's series.
Watching Charlie and Lola together is such a pleasure not just for the delightful British accents, but for the very real -- and often touching -- relationship between the brother and sister. Young viewers will recognize much about themselves in the characters and will live vicariously through the bossy yet likeable Lola. Although she's definitely showing signs of maturity--she even gives Charlie the dinosaur she pulls out of the cereal box -- ultimately, like her musical namesake, "whatever Lola wants, Lola gets."
Special Features Include:
--BAT CAT Music Video
--"Funny Outtakes" Audio Clips
