Home Entertainment Award Winners Announced

The 2004 Home Entertainment Award winners were announced on July 15, 2004 by Bo Andersen, president of the Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA). The archival special edition release of T2 - EXTREME DVD and the direct-to-video release BARBIE OF SWAN LAKE led the field with three Home Entertainment Awards with LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS following close behind with two pries. The association also honored television and music product for the first time. Andersen announced the winners of the 2004 Home Entertainment Awards during the Opening Session of VSDA's Home Entertainment 2004, the annual home entertainment confab at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The winners were determined in voting by the regular membership of VSDA, which includes many of the nation's video stores.
