Digital content and design studio Super-Fi has recently completed an original online game and a series of online trading cards for tvland.com, the classic TV cable channel's Website. Both the game and the trading cards are part of tvland.com's BATMAN Website, promoting the classic live-action series that originally aired from 1966-68. TV Land currently airs BATMAN daily at 7:00 pm. Super-Fi worked in collaboration with tvland.coms creative director Michael Gaylord and head producer Steven Wishnoff to ensure the aesthetic integration of the game and trading cards into the BATMAN site. "This was an incredibly fun project because of both the creative challenges and the great look and feel of the original show, which was our inspiration," explained Super-Fi creative director Daniel Garcia. The animated online game BAT-ATTACK! THE ROAD TO GOTHAM puts players in the drivers seat of the Batmobile, racing to Gotham at the behest of Commissioner Gordon. Along the way, players must Zap! the notorious villains who attempt to halt their mission. The Super-Fi team conceptualized and designed BAT-ATTACK including Flash animation, custom design of the villain vehicles, object-collision programming, and music and sound design supervision and integration. As part of the TV Land project, Super-Fi also created animated Villain Trading Cards, which are downloadable to both Mac and PC systems. The cards feature stats and information on such famous series' villains as Catwoman, The Joker, The Riddler, Egghead and The Penguin. The game and trading cards can be accessed at www.tvland.com/shows/batman/main.jhtml.
