Richard Hollander has left Pixar after four years to rejoin the ranks at Rhythm & Hues Studios, reports VARIETY. Hollander previously served as Rhythm & Hues' film division president and will return as a senior visual effects supervisor. He will start on Aug. 2 and report to his replacement Lee Berger.
While at Pixar, Hollander produced the short PRESTO.
Hollander has worked on such films as BLADE RUNNER, THE ABYSS and TITANIC and won a Scientific & Technical Oscar for co-developing the Wavefront Advanced Visualizer software.
