The Iranian animation film THE HOLE by Vahid Nasirian and produced by the Experimental and Documentary Film Center took home the second prize in the international competition section at the 19th Odense International Film Festival, which was held from August 4-9, 2004 in Denmark. The juvenile jury gave its prize to LOVE TRICYCLE by Andrew Goode (Australia).
The festival featured a program entitled "Commemoration of Iran's Short Films." The 19th International Odense Film Festival is an independent short film festival with both international and national competition sections. It is organized by the City of Odense in cooperation with and through the financial support of the Danish Film Institute. The theme of the event is Hans Christian Andersen, the world-famous fairy-tale writer, who was born in Odense in 1805.
