Hiroshima Int’l Animation Fest Opens 2016 Submissions

To be held August 18-22, the deadline for submissions to HIROSHIMA 2016 is April 1.

The 16th International Animation Festival in Japan -- HIROSHIMA 2016 -- will be held August 18-22, co-organized by the City of Hiroshima and ASIFA-Japan. The biennial event is the only festival in Asia endorsed by ASIFA (Association Internationale du Film d’Animation) since the first edition in 1985.

Organizers are now accepting submissions to the HIROSHIMA 2016 competition. The entry period ends April 1, 2016. New competition regulations, entry forms and shipping labels are downloadable at hiroanim.org. Submissions are accepted via postal mail only; entries cannot be made online.
