Hello Wins Los Angeles Film Fest

On June 26, 2004, Jonathan Nix's 2D student film HELLO won the best animated short at the 2004 Los Angeles Film Festival. The film tells the story of a man with an old tape deck as a head who tries to woo the woman with a CD-player head.

The festival is open to the public and sees more than 40,000 film industry professionals, filmmakers, press, and film enthusiasts each year. Approximately 70 features, 60 shorts, and 45 music videos make up the main body of the festival. The Los Angeles Film Festival showcases the best of American and international independent cinema.
