Hasbro Earns Eight Daytime Emmy Nominations

Hasbro Studios has collected eight Daytime Emmy Award nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for “Transformers Prime,” “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” and “Family Game Night.”

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Hasbro Studios has collected eight Daytime Emmy Award nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for Transformers Prime, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and Family Game Night.

The Academy also provided Transformers Prime with an early trophy for “Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation,” as well as multiple nominations in three additional categories: “Outstanding Special Class Animated Program,” “Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program” and “Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing–Animation.” 

The popular series My Little Pony earned two nods in the “Outstanding Original Song- Children’s and Animation” category, while Family Game Night host Todd Newton garnered his second consecutive nomination for “Outstanding Game Show Host.”

“We are delighted to have the Academy once again recognize these high-quality and highly entertaining series,” said Hasbro Studios President Stephen Davis. “The many talented, hardworking individuals honoured with these multiple nominations and awards have successfully re-imagined our beloved brands into three incredible shows and we couldn’t be more proud of them.”
