Hackett to Edit for Crush Editorial

Mike Hackett is on board as a staff editor at Crush Editorial, a leading post-production editorial company specializing in TV commercials, motion picture trailers, promotional content for videogames and other video programming, according to Cindy Carey, Crush Editorials exec producer.

Mike Hackett has edited more than 200 TV commercials and music videos, and assistant edited some 600 TV spots, as well as assistant edited 22 episodes of fifth season of the TV series BABYLON 5 and two related TV movies.

Prior to joining Crush, he was editor at Avenue Edit from 2001, working for such clients as Bally Total Fitness, Toyota, Suzuki, Bandai and Chevrolet, and worked on many music videos. Before that, he served as a freelance Avid assistant for a number of post houses, including Brass Knuckles, Crew Cuts, Oasis, Stuart Waks, Us2 Editorials and t-minus 30.

He has also edited promos for TV shows such as SABRINA, THE TEENAGE WITCH and MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS, and promo spots for videogames, including GUNDAM and DOT HACK.
