Grossmann New Publicity Director for Taffy Ent.

Marc Grossmann is onboard Taffy Ent. as director of public relations, responsible for overseeing worldwide publicity, advertising and special events for Taffy Ent., in addition to similar responsibilities with other MoonScoop Group partners Mike Young Prods., MoonScoop Prods., Kabillion, Queen Bee and more.

He reports to Cynthia Money, president, Taffy Ent. worldwide consumer products and marketing.

Grossmann served was an independent consultant in the television industry, overseeing launch campaigns for start-up cable channels The Tennis Channel and Anime Network and consumer campaigns for Major League Baseball, Game Show Network, Walt Disney Television Animation, PBS and Best Western Hotels NASCAR sponsorship, among others.

From 1996-2003, he was a senior press manager at NBC, overseeing national campaigns for such primetime fare as JUST SHOOT ME, SCRUBS, FREAKS and GEEKS, and the networks Saturday morning TNBC programming block from Peter Engel Prods. His animation industry background also includes two years (1994-96) as director of publicity at the Hanna-Barbera Cartoons studio, where he worked on the launch campaigns of THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, DEXTERS LABORATORY and JOHNNY BRAVO.

While serving as a senior account exec at a leading Hollywood publicity company from 1991-94, Grossmann managed campaigns for Disney, Paramount, CBS, NBC and Tribune Ent., including Emmy-winning campaigns for The Disney Channels AVONLEA, TRICIA YEARWOOD: THE SONG REMEMBERS WHEN and HARRY CONNICK JR.: THE NEW YORK BIG BAND CONCERT.

Grossmann also serves on the board of directors of the Entertainment Publicists Professional Society (EPPS) and has been a member of the TV Academy for more than 10 years.
