Granada Int'l Takes To The Floor At NATPE 2007

Granada Int'l is set to launch a raft of brand new titles at NATPE 2007, marking its return to the main floor. Granada Int'l will be located at Booth #918.

DRACULA is a television dramatization of Bram Stoker's horror story. Featuring CGI and effects, the 90-minute film contrasts the beauty of Victorian England with the corrupted sex and dark horror of Dracula's world. The cast includes Marc Warren (HUSTLE) as Dracula, Sophia Myles (THUNDERBIRDS), David Suchet (AGATHA CHRISTIE'S POIROT) and Dan Stevens (THE LINE OF BEAUTY). DRACULA is adapted by Stewart Harcourt (AGATHA CHRISTIE'S MARPLE) and directed by Bill Eagles (CSI; COLD CASE). DRACULA is a Granada/WGBH co-production for BBC Wales in association with Granada Int'l.

Children's programming at NATPE includes the second 52x7 series of the multi-award winning, worldwide pre-school hit POCOYO. Winner of the BAFTA for Best Pre-School Animation at the recent British Academy Children's Film and Television Awards, other awards include Best TV Production at this year's Annecy Int'l Animation Festival, the Pulcinella Award 2006 for Best Pre-School, the Best European Program and Best Animated TV Series at Animacor 2005 Animation Festival and the Most Popular Kids Show at Cartoons On The Bay. The adventures of Pocoyo, an inquisitive and fun-loving little boy, feature a cast of colorful characters. The series captures the imagination and stimulates children to watch, listen and interact, promoting creativity, self-awareness and self-confidence by learning through laughter.

Written by Ken Scarborough, with the English version narrated by Stephen Fry (GOSFORD PARK; THUNDERPANTS), the series uses CG to create a unique, tactile and visually stunning look. Produced by Zinkia Ent./Granada Int'l in association with Granada Kids, the first series of POCOYO is also available from Granada Int'l.
