The PC version of Got Game Entertainments ALIDA is available now at retail stores across North America. The Mac version of the game was released earlier this year. The game was created by Australian musician and artist Cos Russo, who combined his love of music, art and games to create a total sensory experience of clever and thought-provoking puzzles, story and lush graphics, backed by an entrancing original music score. In this atmospheric first person 3D graphical adventure game, players must solve the mystery surrounding a missing musician.
The adventure begins when you are secretly dropped off on Alida, a guitar-shaped island theme park created by a wildly successful band. Money woes and paranoia cause the band to split up, so each claims different areas of the park where strange and elaborate systems are devised to protect their remaining wealth. Each member grows increasingly isolated and all eventually abandon Alida. Several years later the band's manager suggests a reunion on the island. Band member Arin leaves for Alida and is not heard from again. His wife, Julia, sends you to the island to find her missing husband and bring him home.
"Playing this beautiful and entertaining game you would never believe it was created by just one person," said Howard Horowitz, president of Got Game Ent. "With his commitment to quality and detail, Cos Russo has created a game that not only ranks with the big budget adventure releases, but as many critics and fans agree, it surpasses them in many respects."
With its wondrous and ornate graphics and unique and bizarre locations, as you search for the missing musician, the game publishers believe you will soon find yourself lost in Alida. ALIDA is rated "E" for Everyone by the ESRB and retails for $29.99. For more information, visit www.GotGameEntertainment.com/alida.
