The Gnomon School of Visual Effects invites guests to see how the rumbling robots of REAL STEEL were brought to life by acclaimed animation studio, Digital Domain. Four of the talented artists behind the film—Erik Gamache (“Star Trek”), Geoffrey Baumann (“G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”), Justin van der Lek (“2012”) and Blake Sweeney (“TRON: Legacy”)—will share exclusive content and the VFX techniques they used to create the digital, futuristic brawlers.
Following the panel, Marcel de Jong will lead an in-depth Maya User Group presentation, sharing tips and tricks for Autodesk Maya and demo new features of Mudbox and Motion Builder.
