Originally developed by American Greetings as a line of sentimental greeting cards almost 40 years ago, Holly Hobbie blossomed into a wildly successful brand, having adorned everything from apparel to wallpaper, and of course the beloved doll line. In the fall of 2006, AGP introduced Holly Hobbie to a whole new generation of girls with Holly Hobbie & Friends -- a contemporary evolution of one of the most beloved characters of all time. In Holly Hobbie & Friends, Holly herself is the great-granddaughter of the “original” Holly Hobbie and feels a deep sense of connection to her personality, creativity and warmth. Holly even looks like her famous ancestor. But in a sign of the times, the new Holly wears boots and a funky signature cap complete with a touch of gingham as a nod to the iconic bonnet worn by the original character. About American Greetings CorporationFor more than 100 years, American Greetings Corporation (NYSE: AM) has been a creator and manufacturer of innovative social expression products that assist consumers in enhancing their relationships.
