Glitch Fest Calls for Entries

The Glitch Fest, is comprised of short films of three to 10 minutes in length and in all categories: French or English, from Quebec or elsewhere, be they parodies, fake publicities, dramas, horror films, press reports, animations, trash, etc., so long as the short films are interesting and innovative.

Each short film is carefully selected to captivate a full house of 450 spectators hungry for variety and entertainment. It is in a relaxed, festive and unpretentious atmosphere that the independent films are presented at the Glitch Fest. Prizes include three copies of Combustion by Autodesk (value of $995 each).

Only those who will have accepted the web and DVD compilation limited distribution clauses, as stated in the submission application, will be eligible for the prizes awarded by the festival. The Glitch, Montreals Short Film Festival, is a non-profit event whose primary objective is to promote and distribute short films to a large viewing public. The event is organized by a team comprised entirely of volunteers. All funds collected by the sale of DVD compilations are reinvested in the festivals organization.
