New episodes of Disney's laugh-out-loud animated comedy series, PHINEAS AND FERB, will roll out on Disney XD (currently known as Toon Disney) and in streaming video on DisneyXD.com, beginning Monday, February 16 with a 17-episode PHINEAS AND FERB TV marathon (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., ET/PT). It ushers in a new episode (4:30 p.m., ET/PT), guest starring Geraldo Rivera, in which exasperated sister Candace finally gets Mom to see first-hand the outrageous antics of her brothers, Phineas and Ferb.
New episodes will air daily from February 16-21 (4:30 p.m., ET/PT); the series moves to its regular time slot on Saturday, February 21 (8 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD. Encore presentations will air daily on Disney Channel.
Seen around the world in 168 territories and 30 languages, PHINEAS AND FERB has created a strong connection with kids, tweens and families. For 2008, it ranked as television's #1 animated series among Tweens 9-14. In its Friday 8:30 p.m. time period, it ranked as television's #2 program among Boys 6-14.
Its success has created other opportunities around The Walt Disney Company, including a Nintendo DS game from Disney Interactive Studios, chapter books from Disney Publishing, summer apparel and accessories at mass retail from Disney Consumer Products, an upcoming soundtrack from Walt Disney Records and a DVD compilation, PHINEAS AND FERB: THE DAZE OF SUMMER, releasing in February from Walt Disney Studios Home Ent.
A treasure trove of stories set to premiere later this year includes: an episode that parodies music video countdown shows and showcases the Top 10 PHINEAS AND FERB songs (as voted on by DisneyXD.com and DisneyChannel.com visitors); an episode that's an all-musical extravaganza; another in which Phineas and Ferb go into the future; and an episode inspired by THE WIZARD OF OZ.

PHINEAS AND FERB features imaginative and witty characters, stories and music centered on resourceful Phineas Flynn and his stepbrother, Ferb Fletcher, as they stave off boredom and make every day of their 104-day summer vacation count. It was nominated for two Emmy Awards.
