Spiral International’s activities will be under the direct supervision of Andrew Berman, Senior Vice President of Global Content Sales for GBI.

“Latin America is a top priority for GBI’s international expansion and we believe our content with a purpose, which is developed with localization in mind, will fill a vital niche in the Latin American marketplace overall,” said Berman in making the announcement. “Zasha’s knowledge of the local, regional and national media platforms throughout Latin America, as well as his vast experience and long-standing relationships with broadcasters, cable networks, digital and other new media resources will be extremely beneficial in guiding our selection of local and regional partners that share our vision for launching GBI’s portfolio of children’s media content into the region.”

“Genius Brands’ purpose driven content is both entertaining and enlightening and will surpass content buyers’ demand for engaging programming that both kids and parents will enjoy.  The company’s content is also very complementary to our current portfolio, which is always helpful when introducing new programming into the market,” added Robles.  “I am extremely excited to be representing Genius Brands and its innovative, multiplatform content in Latin America."
