GEM Group Acquires BMG Film Library

Global Entertainment Media Group, LLC (GEM Group), has acquired the film library of BMG, the worldwide music division of Bertelsmann AG. This includes all residual rights to the BMG film library that has been in existence since 1995, including free television, DVD, home video and other ancillary rights to the films.

We are very pleased to turn the destiny of these films over to such a professional organization as Global Entertainment Media Group and are confident these films will be enjoyed by many people in the years to come, commented Maarten Steinkamp, president, International, BMG.

The high quality package includes a variety of genres and titles, including films such as NIGHT FALLS ON MANHATTAN, AMERICAN BUFFALO and TRIGGER HAPPY.
