Social gaming giant Zynga has launched the new game EMPIRES & ALLIES, writes The Hollywood Reporter. The title marks the company’s first move into strategy combat games. It’s also the first from its new L.A. studio.

Players build an island nation to prepare for attacks by enemies. Scarlett is a military adviser that helps gamers. Thirty other characters interact with players throughout gameplay. The title will be released in 12 languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, Turkish, Traditional Chinese, Malay, Korean and Norwegian.
