Gameloft To Bring CSI To Mobile

Gameloft announced a worldwide multi-year, multi-game agreement with CBS Mobile to develop, publish and distribute games based on the hit television series CSI. The first game, based on CSI: MIAMI, has already launched in the U.S. and will be available in 140 countries in the months thereafter.

CSI: MIAMI was developed by Gameloft and CBS Mobile in concert with Anthony Zuiker, Exec Producer/Creator of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, bringing a high level of involvement and direction from the show's creative auspices. The mobile game will be especially designed to capture the storylines, look, atmosphere and intrigue that infuses each episode.

"This is a new quality level of cross-platform development. By involving Anthony Zuiker, the creator of CSI, directly in the mobile game development, we will create much more than just a 'brand extension' of the CSI franchise. This is what we call true 'platforming' of content," said Cyriac Roeding, EVP, CBS Mobile. "Gameloft is one of the best mobile game developers in the world, and we're pleased to add them to our growing list of best in breed partners. Gameloft truly thinks 'mobile' when creating games - that matches CBS Mobile's approach."

The game can be downloaded directly through AT&T, T-mobile, Sprint and Verizon. By selecting the menu page on your phone and accessing the games folder, you are then able to select CSI: MIAMI to purchase. Follow the onscreen instructions to download the game.

Gameloft is a leading international publisher and developer of videogames for mobile phones. Established in 1999, the company creates games for mobile handsets equipped with Java, Brew or Symbian technology. For more information, visit
