FX has picked the TV rights to a host of vfx and animated blockbusters, reports Deadline.com. Titles include Disney's TRON: LEGACY, Sony's THE GREEN HORNET, Paramount's RANGO and Sony's BATTLE: LOS ANGELES. Each debuted at the top of the U.S. box office. Estimates have the licensing fees set at 10-12% of their domestic box office cume. The films will start airing on the network in mid-2013. FX strategy of airing box office champs has increased their primetime movie viewership by 28% over the past year.
