LARS AND THE REAL GIRL helmer Craig Gillespie will take his place in the director's chair of DreamWorks' remake of FRIGHT NIGHT, reports VARIETY. Written by Marti Noxon (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER), the redux will follow a teen that discovers his neighbor is a nosferatu like was the case in the 1985 original. Michael De Luca, Alison Rosenzweig and Michael Gaeta are the producers with Lloyd Ivan Miller exec producing.
