Freakin' Sweet! Evening Of Music, Comedy With Family Guy

Center Theatre Group, in association with Steve Linder and IMG Artists, presents FREAKIN' SWEET! AN EVENING OF MUSIC AND COMEDY WITH FAMILY GUY'S ALEX BORSTEIN AND SETH MACFARLANE, on Saturday, May 10 at 8 p.m.

This one-night-only event will take place at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles and benefits CTG's New Play Production Program.

Borstein and MacFarlane will be joined by Walter Murphy, Rich Ruttenberg and the FAMILY GUY Orchestra. The evening will begin with the comedy of special guest Janeane Garofalo before Borstein and MacFarlane lead the audience on a musical tour through the alphabet with a hilarious and irreverent 26-song set, which redefines the term eclectic.

Borstein is the voice of Lois Griffin and several other characters on Fox's FAMILY GUY. She is also and is well known to MADTV fans as Ms. Swan. Seth MacFarlane is the Emmy Award-winning creator and executive producer of Fox's FAMILY GUY and AMERICAN DAD.

MacFarlane is the voice of Peter, Stewie and Brian Griffin as well as countless other characters on FAMILY GUY and AMERICAN DAD. Garofalo, star of films such as THE TRUTH ABOUT CATS AND DOGS and REALITY BITES, is an actress, comedian and outspoken activist who was instrumental in launching Air America Radio.

FAMILY GUY airs Sundays (9:00-9:30 p.m. ET/PT) on Fox.

Center Theatre Group's New Play Production Program is a unique and comprehensive initiative that ensures that a variety of vibrant new theatrical work makes it to CTG's three stages -- the Ahmanson Theatre, the Mark Taper Forum and the Kirk Douglas Theatre. The program fosters the production of new work through commissions, producing partnerships both locally and internationally and artist residencies.
