EM.TV has completed another big sale for its children's animation series THE WORLD OF TOSH. Fox Kids UK has acquired 26 x 22-minute episodes of the series, scheduled to air in the UK in October 2003. THE WORLD OF TOSH follows Tosh, a nine-year-old Swedish boy whose one goal in life is to get his first kiss. After debuting at MIP-TV in April 2002, the series has been sold to TV2 (Denmark), The Seven Network (Australia), Singapore Cable TV, UBC (Thailand) and Nickelodeon Latin America. A co-financing deal has been signed with DeAPlaneta for Spain and Portugal, and the series will also soon be airing in Germany on private broadcaster Sat. 1. THE WORLD OF TOSH, based on the childrens books by Anders Jacobsen and Sören Olsson, is an EM.TV & Merchandising AG, Happy Life Animation AB and Magma Films co-production.
