Press Release from Foothill Entertainment Inc.

(Santa Barbara, CA – October 2009): In post-MIPCOM news, Foothill Entertainment, Inc. is proud to announce that it has signed a strategic co-production deal while at MIPCOM 2009 with two key partners. The deal, which propels the original and delightful series Gododo into its next stages of development, brings Neptuno Films of Spain and Title Entertainment of Canada to the table, creating a top-notch alliance.

Created by Ian Ellery and Guy Hallifax of UK/Canadian team, Phew!!, there is one dodo still out there – somewhere. Yes, Gododo is far from extinct. He is alive and well, but thoroughly lost. Hardly helped by an inept Narrator, Gododo and his companion Ducky follow the arrows. The arrows must lead somewhere and mean something, mustn’t they? Of course they do! They lead to the next hilarious and surreal adventure! They mean a lot of visual gags and great fun. “We are enormously happy to have signed our deal with Neptuno and Title at MIPCOM for Gododo,” says Jo Kavanagh-Payne, President of Foothill. “Both companies are extremely talented and we know they will be ideal partners for us on this unique series.”

Neptuno Films was established in 1991 and soon became a driving force in the world animation production landscape. The company currently constitutes one of the largest fully-fledged studios in Europe and ranks second in the list of most prolific European studios. “We feel as though this property is going to be a driving force in the pre-school market,” says Cristina Brandner, Managing Director of Neptuno. “We are delighted to be working with Title Entertainment and Foothill, and we know that we have already created a path to success for the long lost Dodo.” Neptuno Films was also chosen as one of the top 10 international animation studios outside of the USA by Animation Magazine.

Title Entertainment Inc. was founded in 2004 by Canadian industry veterans Frank Taylor and Dulcie Clark. The company produces a wide array of programming across several genres including children’s animation, documentaries and educational films. “We fell in love with Gododo when we first saw the property,” says Frank Taylor, Title’s President & CEO. “Now we are thrilled to have reached a deal with the talented team at Neptuno, along with Foothill, so we can be on our way to bringing this brilliant pre-school property to audiences around the world”.

Founded in September 2000 by former DIC Entertainment executive Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs, Gregory Payne and Jo Kavanagh-Payne, former Link Television Entertainment, Inc. Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations, Foothill specializes in the co-development and distribution of children’s and family entertainment programming. Their Company is based in Santa Barbara, California.
