FlickerLab Expands with New Partner

FlickerLab founder, Harold Moss, and independent producer Tammy Walters, have formalized their long-term association, as Walters becomes a partner in his fast-growing animation studio. Moss and Walters first met at Curious Pictures, where Walters was head of the companys digital division.

Walters and Moss have collaborated on pilots for Cartoon Network, and numerous development projects. Walters has been acting exec producer at FlickerLab for the past year, as well as overseeing production of original content. She will continue in these roles, as well as in business development.

Walters' 20-year career in television production includes producing programming for Bill Moyers, Disney, Childrens Television Workshop, HBO and Nickelodeon, as well as producing many award-winning commercials and other projects. Her work in animation includes producing credits on SESAME STREETs Elmos World, HBOs A LITTLE CURIOUS and Cartoon Networks THE MOXY AND FLEA SHOW.

The studio also has moved into a new studio comprising an entire floor in a landmark building in the Flatiron District at 7 West 18th Street, New York, New York.

Moss explains, We have more than doubled our space, to accommodate client, editing, and compositing sessions quite efficiently. The studio is designed to support both the artist and the client, and we are now powered to scale-up for large projects. We see 2005 as a pretty exciting time here.

The 5,000-square-feet location incorporates suites for the studios Discreet Flint system, Final Cut HD Online and a recording and sound design room. Editing capabilities are planned on-site. Glass-enclosed offices impart an open spirit of creative collaboration among the burgeoning staff at FlickerLab.

FlickerLab is in production on projects for Nickelodeon, A&E Network, Bravo and several animated television pilots. As the designer of the open for CELEBRITY POKER SHOWDOWN, FlickerLab works continually with this show. Commercial work includes recent Move On PACs political spots, branded entertainment for Procter & Gamble, Ford Europe campaigns and more. Film work includes the animated titles and design for the upcoming FIERCE PEOPLE (dir. Griffin Dunne) releasing next year through Lions Gate Films, as well as work on Michael Moores significant films FAHRENHEIT 9/11 and BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE.
