With the big feature animated films INNOCENCE and SHREK 2 being blacked out by the large shadow of Michael Moore and his Palme d'Or winning FAHRENHEIT 9/11, the animation world has one thing to cheer about out of Cannes and that is the Jury Prize for Short Film going to Jonas Geirnaert's FLATLIFE. The animated short by the young Flemish director follows a number of people living in an apartment building who rather unintentionally make each other's life difficult.
