Financial Planning for Animation Professionals

On Saturday, May 19, from 9 - 4 pm, WIA/LA will present "Financial Planning for Animation Professionals," a day long seminar to help animation people plan their finances in this rough time, with a stellar line up of financial and legal experts to help you make some often difficult decisions. The seminar will be held at Klasky-Csupo in Hollywood. Speaking at this seminar are Bjorn Hauerbach, Financial Advisor from UBS Paine Webber, Jim Rubin, Vice-President of MFS Investment Management Co., Steve Shonack, Attorney from Gunderson, Schlichter, Shonack, and Handel, and Mark Sargent and Chauthy Pham, from Insurance and Financial Services, Mass Mutual Financial Group. These are knowledgeable professionals who work regularly with people in the animation and entertainment business. They are acquainted with the peculiar ups and downs of our industry and can offer practical advice about how to budget for layoffs and still have money to put away for your future.
