Zemeckis Ready to Take Flight on Next Project

Robert Zemeckis is in talks with Paramount Pictures to take the helm of FLIGHT, reports Deadline.com. Written by John Gatins (REAL STEEL), the story follows commercial pilot who successful lands his malfunctioning airline and his hailed a hero, but an investigation reveals that he was under the influence at the time. Denzel Washington is tentatively set to star. Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are the producers.
