Extreme-sports actioner XXX, with visual effects by Digital Domain, was the number one film this weekend, earning $44.5M. The signs were still good for M. Night Shyamalan's crop-circle caper, which has already crossed the $100M mark after ten days in theaters. SIGNS, with visual effects by ILM, dropped 51% from last weekend but still brought in $29.4M for a total of $117.9M and second place. Family friendly sequel SPY KIDS 2: THE ISLAND OF LOST DREAMS, with visual effects by ComputerCafe, debuted in third with $16.7M for the weekend and a total of $25M since its Wednesday debut. Yeah baby! AUSTIN POWERS: GOLDMEMBER brought in $13M for fourth place, bringing its three week total to a groovy $167.8M. The comedy THE MASTER OF DISGUISE, seems hidden from viewers, as it dropped 59% in its second week, earning just $5.1M for a cume of $21.7M. STUART LITTLE 2, just doesn't seem to have the legs of the original, which grossed over $140M domestically. The kid-friendly adventure, with visual effects by Sony Imageworks, dropped all the way to tenth, adding another $2M for a mousy four-week total of $53M. Disney's THE COUNTRY BEARS looks done for, as Disney pulled it from over half its theaters in its third week. The bear jamboree earned just $824,211 this weekend, for a total cume of $14.3M.
