Variety reports The Weinstein Co. has laid-off approximately 10 employees, only a few short months after hiring the consulting firm, Miller Buckfire & Co. to oversee its options.

The young/Post-Miramax company, founded by Bob & Harvey Weinstein has seen both Quentin Tarantino's INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS and Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN II, do considerably well in theaters. HALLOWEEN II made $20M in its first week.
