Warner Starts World War X

Warner Bros. has bought the rights to Colin Trevorrow's screenplay WORLD WAR X, reports VARIETY. The film follows a government team set to stop a futuristic terrorist using time travel to change history.

Silver Pictures' Joel Silver and Andrew Rona are the producers alongside exec producers Chris Bender, JC Spink, Alex Heineman and Jake Weiner. Sarah Schechter and John Ridley will shepherd for Warner Bros.
