Twilight Screenwriter Travels to Highlander
Melissa Rosenberg, who has adapted the TWILIGHT SAGA for the screen, is in talks to pen the reboot of HIGHLANDER, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Justin Lin (FAST FIVE) is set to direct. Neal Moritz and Peter Davis are producing.
The original film followed near-immortal Scottish swordsman Connor MacLeod who battles over centuries with a barbarian named the Kurgan who's determined to kill all the other immortals.
Previously, Art Marcum and Matt Holloway wrote a draft for Summit, followed by a rewrite by Cormac Wibberley and Marianne Sellek Wibberley.
