Walt Disney Pictures has announced that TRON LEGACY will arrive in theaters on Dec. 17, 2010. Joseph Kosinski is directing the sequel. The cast includes Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain, Beau Garrett and Michael Sheen.

In the film, the 27-year-old son (Hedlund) of Kevin Flynn (Bridges) enters the cyber world where his father has been trapped for the last 25 years. Along with the son Sam's friend (Wilde), he and his father attempt to escape from the world of programs and electronic gladiator games.
