John D. Payne and Patrick McKay (GOLIATH) have been hired to transform Spike TV's THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR into a fictional feature, reports Variety. This marks the first time that Viacom-based Paramount and Spike have developed a project together. 21 Laps Ent.'s Shawn Levy and Dan Levine will produce with Levy eyeing the project to direct as well. The TV series hypothetically creates battles between historical warriors.
