With THE MEXICAN retaining the top spot and the live-action thriller 15 MINUTES debuting in second, Warner Bros.' SEE SPOT RUN held steady in third, grossing US$6.61 million. The feces-joke ridden family film has scooped up $17.98 million so far. HANNIBAL fell from second to fourth with a gross of $5.85 million. The hog-wild horror flick, with primary visual effects by Mill Film, has dined on $151.5 million thus far. Slipping two slots to finish seventh, CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON drummed up another $4.26 million. The highest grossing foreign language film in U.S. history, with primary visual effects by Blue Sky Studios, CFC/MVFX and Manex Visual Effects, has accumulated $94.51 million to date. Dropping from sixth to eighth, TRAFFIC smuggled in an additional $3.94 million. The drug war drama, with primary visual effects by Cinesite, has smoked up $97.54 million. Closing out the top ten, Disney's RECESS: SCHOOL'S OUT kicked in $2.31 million. TJ and gang's big screen adventure has saved $30.6 million so far. Holding its ground at #12, CAST AWAY tied up another $1.55 million. The Robinson Crusoe-wannabe, with primary visual effects by Sony Pictures Imageworks, has fished in $225.9 million. Falling from #9 to #14, 3,000 MILES TO GRACELAND snatched $1.23 million. The high-octane crime caper, with primary visual effects by Rainmaker Digital Pictures, has scrounged up $14.55 million so far. Other animated and special effects laden films finishing in the top fifty were: SNATCH at #21, with a gross of $358,037 and a cume of $30.09 million; MONKEYBONE at #24, with a gross of $328,940 and a cume of $4.94 million; THIRTEEN DAYS at #26, with a gross of $264,312 and a cume of $34.04 million; 102 DALMATIANS at #30, with a gross of $233,654 and a cume of $66.11 million; THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE at #31, with a gross of $221,795 and a cume of $86.38 million; UNBREAKABLE at #32, with a gross of $208,245 and a cume of $94.51 million; CYBERWORLD 3D at #39, with a gross of $118,705 and a cume of $6.52 million; RUGRATS IN PARIS at #42, with a gross of $90,514 and a cume of $76.21 million; and LEFT BEHIND at #48, with a gross of $63,215 and a cume of $4.11 million.
