Commercials director Carl Rinsch is set to direct the samurai flick, 47 RONIN, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Scott Stuber and Pamela Abdy are producing the flick for Universal. Keanu Reeves will star.

Written by Chris Morgan (WANTED), the story follows the classic Japanese fable of 47 samurai who set out to avenge the death of their master.

Previously, Rinsch had been attached to the ALIEN prequel.
