Paramount has decided to bring back THE RING series for another go-around in 3-D, reports HEAT VISION. David Loucka (DREAM HOUSE) will write RING 3D.

Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are in talks to come back as the producer with Vertigo and Benderspink exec producing.

The third film will try to revitalize the franchise in the teen market. Plot details are being kept quiet, but the idea of a cursed videotape will remain.
