Gore Verbinski’s Rango took Best Animated Feature Film at the 84th Academy Awards, beating out Alain Gagnol and Jean-Loup Felicioli’s A Cat in Paris, Fernando Trueba and Javier Mariscal’s Chico and Rita, Jennifer Yuh Nelson’s Kung Fu Panda 2, and Chris Miller’s Puss in Boots.
