Matt Cirulnick and Mandeville Films' David Manpearl created the source material, which was penned by Cirulnick and Zachary Sherman. Cirulnick will write the screenplay, as well as exec produce alongside Radical EVP Jesse Berger and Manpearl.
DreamWorks, Radical Studios, Mandeville and Raimi's Star Road Ent. are the companies behind the production. Radical's Barry Levine, Mandeville's David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman and Star Road's Josh Donen are producing.
After walking away from the SPIDER-MAN franchise, Raimi has lined up a slew of projects including a WORLD OF WARCRAFT adaptation and the WIZARD OF OZ prequel, OZ, THE GREAT AND POWERFUL.
