Prince Caspian Star Becomes Seventh Son
Ben Barnes (THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN) is in talks to play the lead in THE SEVENTH SON, based Joseph Delaney's YA novel THE SPOOK'S APPRENTICE, reports Variety. The story follows the seventh son of a seventh son who trains in wizardry with a ghost. Jeff Bridges is set to play the specter, while Julianne Moore will take the role of a witch. Swedish actress Alicia Vikander is also in the cast.
Sergei Bodrov, Legendary Pictures' Thomas Tull, Thunder Road's Basil Iwanyk and Lionel Wigram are the producers. Jon Jashni and Alysia Cotter are the exec producers. Legendary's Jillian Zaks and Thunder Road's Erica Lee are shepherding.
Warner Bros. hopes to release the film in 2013.

I laughed so hard at this article. NO, this is not a story about someone "who trains in wizardry with a ghost"!! Check your facts. It is about an apprentice who trains to fight the supernatural with a "Spook" - the name for an expert in battling the supernatural (NOT a ghost). There's no wizardry, and the Spook is not a ghost, just a man.
