No Heroics Writer Runs Away with Marvel Adaptation

Drew Pearce, who created the British superhero spoof series NO HEROICS, has been hired by Marvel Studios to write the screenplay for RUNAWAYS, reports Deadline.com. Based on the comic created by LOST writer Brian K. Vaughan, the story follows the children of supervillains who run away from their parents and try to use their powers for good. Pete Sollett (NICK AND NORA’S INFINITE PLAYLIST) is directing.
