DEADLINE.COM reports that David Goyer, who recently left FLASHFORWARD as showrunner to pursue his film career, is working on the follow-up to THE DARK NIGHT.

Goyer co-wrote BATMAN BEGINS and wrote THE DARK KNIGHT. He'll be co-writing the third Batman installment with Jonah Nolan.
